Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers bug?

I've been stuck forever on Day 4 of GK1. I usually don't check walkthroughs but I decided to make an exception because the amount of time I was wasting was starting to get ridiculous. According to every walkthrough I can find, Day 4 is supposed to end right after Crash dies in the church and you've taken down his tatoo. Unfortunately, my Day 4 doesn't end... I've done absolutely everything there is to do, but the game never transitions into Day 5. Has anyone ever heard of anything like this and, if so, know how to remedy the situation? Or, worse case scenario, could anyone send me a savegame file that picks up on Day 5? I've invested so much time in this game so far, it would be a crying shame if I had to just quit halfway through.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I had the same problem when I played the last time. I solved it by starting Day 4 over again and doing things in a different order than I had the first time. I don't know if it was a bug or just a weird glitch I hit, but doing the chapter over was easier for me than trying to figure out what I was missing.
