Do anyone have a savegame just past the Bell in the sewers in silver. I found a savegame which should have been past this place, but instead, it contained files for the ingame world. I need a savegame for the europeian version, and I think it's similar to the UK one.

Oh, man... It's been such a long time since I played Silver.

Sorry, I don't have a save, but thank you for reminding me of that very fun game.

Interesting trivia: Originally the game was to play out like a strategy game, where you just click an opponent and your character starts fighting it, requiring no input from you. This might work in turn-based RPGs, but Silver would've been boring with that kind of combat system, so the developers opted for the current mouse movement combat system, which was just a great one.

I have some various files to make silver run on a more modern system (compared to when it was released) such as the Gforce fix that makes the "scanline" looking graphical bugs disappear, and lots of other stuff made by people. Infogrames didn't do anything to fix any bugs of this game as far as I know. There may have been an update but no one that fixes my problems, so I really need a savegame that gets past the bell in the sewers.

If someone need some files, I have them stored on my computer, and the reason why I offer these, is that I find mostly ghosts of the files on the web (files being removed cause the lack of interest), so at least I have them ;)

If you need any files (except the sewer fix, which I haven't found one working version of yet) so send me a PM or leave a reply.

I have a sewer fix which didn't work on my system (might think it's for the north-american version) you can have that as well.

Anything to get me past a crash after you first meet the oracle would be useful. Currently, as soon as you leave the tower, and everyone else comes running up, it dumps to windows :( I know I've got past this bit before too, but I don't remember how I managed it.

I would love to get my hands on said files... I am having difficulties running this on my system now, although the game seemed to work well a few years ago. thanks,

Man I'd love to get my hands on those. I finally bought a copy of Silver off of Ebay and I have the scanline problem with my Radeon 9600. It'd be nice to be able to play it on my main pc and not have to rebuild my old one. I've been waiting since 99 to play this game. Any help would be appreciated IMMENSELY!! Thanks in advance for any help.

I guess uploading those files online somewhere would be a smart idea, don't you think?

Well, since I said 'it would be a smart idea' I obviously don't have those files, otherwise I would have been glad to point you to the site where I did upload them. :)
