Missing critical information or am I just dense? (Black Mirror)

I'm having trouble even getting started playing the Black Mirror. The prompt asking me to input a cd key number (24 characters) is simply no where to be found in the cd package or packaging. Can someone help me? I've contacted Adventure Company through their website but so far, have only been told what I already know, that I'm supposed to input a 24 character code that is supposed to be either in a (missing) insert or is supposed to be somewhere on the cd/package.... HELP! thanks.

The GMXmedia-released UK version doesn't have that requirement either, so I can't help.

Thanks to all who answered my request for help (and a special thanks to emily for making my request intelligible ; ) I must report that this evening I received an email from the Adventure Company which contained two different codes which, presumably, will allow me to play the game. If I don't post again about this, then at least one of the codes is the 'key' and I shall be happily engrossed in the game. Thanks again! :)
