It's pretty cool that all this new Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon content is being released in anticipation of its release. I think your post has been overshadowed by the awesome Gamers Hell X-Box Screenshots that have are linked on the front page though. :)

(BTW. Did anyone else notice that on the X-Box screenshots, the four circle things at the bottem of the screen are different colours? :))

Talking about BS3 goodies, anyone knows when is the demo about to come out?

I love the facial animations in those screenshots.

That's one thing I'm happy about BS3. The characters look just great.

The characters look really awesome. I like the images with George and Nico standing next to each other.... definately looks kick-ass! :) This game looks like it's shaping up to be damn cool. :)

The new screenshots look amazing. Gah, I can't wait any longer. I can't believe the english version is being postponed. :(

Oh, and I really like the cover art as well, especially the silouette (or however it's spelled) of Paris. I'm getting over-excited, and my expectations are probably too high. I should have done of those blackouts that Inteprid was talking about. :)

I really wonder about the demo. The game is supposed to be released in a couple of weeks. How they can release the PS2-version almost a month before the PC-version is also beyond me. :frusty:

Are you sure? I though Dom said that they're gonna release the non-english versions first, the 10th of October, and then supposed release the english verison in November? Are the PS2 and PC-versions also released separately?

Non-english versions? Oboy. Well the store where I usually get my games ( www.webhallen.com ) claims that the PS2-version will be released on the 10th of october and the PC-version on the 24th.

Oh well, I'm so confused. Although, you shouldn't trust Webhallen's dates too much. They're often incorrect.

Oh man, how can they release the non-english version first? And what kind of non-english language are we talking about here? I can understand why Runaway first came in spanish, or Tony Tough first came in italian, but Revolution is UK developer, so why the non-english version first ??? :(

According to Dom:

Ok the foreign langaue versions (German, French etc.) will be released on 10/10 or around that date. The english version will be released in november.

The reason is (from Revs forum) that THQ needs to keep a good reationship with software outlets on mainland europe, and to do that it has to make sure the french/german/etc sales won't be harmed initially by people importing the english release.

(The quote can be found here (http://www.adventuregamers.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4629&postcount=19))

BS3 won't make the 10th release date, that's from the horse's mouth.
However if it does it'll be ace. The game has only just been submitted to press for reviews and apparently there's still a bit of lead time until retail left.

Well then Pappapisshu, we must hope they make a swedish version then. ;)

Det brutna svärdet 3: den slaggande draken

Hmm maybe not. That sounds horrible. :\

I'd prefer:

Brutet Svärd 3: Den Sovande Draken (inget slang här, inte ;))

Heh, I'd definitely wait a couple of months or so, just to not have it named like that. ;)

I thought BS3 had been pushed back to November. Does anyone know what's really going on with the release dates? (Steve?)

It comes out a month later in the US.

Unfortunately the thread discussing the difference between the English and European language versions has disappeared off the end of the Rev forum :( But if the game is delayed then the english release will probably still be a few weeks after the mainland european versions.

I personally haven't seen anything else about any delays apart from this thread (at revolution.co.uk) (http://www.revolution.co.uk/_forum.php?neuron=1&topic=871&open=1&page=2) where Tony Warriner says rev don't know what the final release date will be.

Though theneb is probably right I can't see the game meeting the 10/10 deadline when it's only just been sent off for Sony/MS approval. (especially if it doesn't get approval first time)

Seems like October 24th is the Norwegian release date for BS3. I believe that would be for the rest of Europe as well. As for US of A, I don't know.

The 10th of October was the first release date THQ gave away. The official BS3-site still says so, but it's quite unrealistic that the game will hit the stores on that day. THQ.de already says it's the 7th of November, while the UK should get the game on the 24th. And French THQ is sure to get BS3 out anytime in November. Tony Warriner from Rev just mentioned that they'll like to release it at the of October (depends on what Microsoft and Sony says), which makes the whole story more confusing.

Most likely the game will come out and nobody will mention it. http://www.gu-videogames.de/nexusboard/smilies/ugly.gif ;)

I hope Rev/THQ clear this up soon, because confusion could harm the games release...

Another interestering fact, the French version will be called Les Chevaliers de Baphomet, Le Manuscrit de voynich. Which is translated to Knights of Baphomet, the Manuscript of voynich.

Wohoo! So we don't have to wait until November. :) Sounds cool.

Honestly, I'm rather worried about that...
