Full Throttle HELP!

hey guys, i've been playing full throttle for about the past 3 hours and i'm at the part ware you need to collect 3 things to get over the bridge. i got the hovercraft dohivky and the ramp. but i cant get the damn booster. i've been on "route 4" for about an hour. i got frustrated about 15 minuts in and started cheeting (shift + V) and i still have'nt come across my booster pack
i've consulted 3 walkthrews that said this is ware i find it.
i'm running ScummVM 6.0 could it be a possible glich/error

There's a guy on the Old Mine Road that wears glasses. Before you can fight him he speeds away. He has the booster-thingymabob that you need.

To beat the guy with the Vulture, I think you need to attack him the the chain? Which you get by defeating some other dude. Sorry, it's been a while...

Yep, you need to use the chain, not the chain with the skull, just the plain chain. :)

Don't you need to use the plank?

No the plank is for knocking the cavefish guy off his bike when he sticks his head up, so you can steal the glasses.

i've beet him almost 5 times alredy and he does'nt give up anything.

You beat the guy who always zips away in a puff of smoke and says "ta ta!!" or something? If you beat that guy once he doesn't come back.

yeah, thats the guy, i beat him and got the little moce sceen ware ben says "i think there's enuf left to jump the bridge or somthing like that. i got the ramp and the hover craft. but when i o to jump the bridge he says that he wont be able to go fast enough.

Well, have you actually mounted the booster and the hoverlift on the bike, then? ;)

yep, i've done everything i need to do, i've consulted 3 walkthrews and they all told what to do in order and i did exactly what it said. i'm thinking about starting all over agin, maybe it will fix the problem

I'm not really sure if this is the solution or not, but I think maybe you have to start from a long way away. Perhaps even all the way back at the farm. How to actually start then I'm not sure, maybe he does it himself if you reach the farm or you have to turn on the booster there.

All I remember is that I usually (yep, played through it a lot of times, but a long time ago now...) plug in the booster and the hoverlift after Ripburger's two henchmen have collided (after pushing the truck to spew fertilizer in the road, you know). Then open their car and get their hoverlift device and plug that and the booster in your own bike.

But... you've obviously already done this, right?
