I have a strange bug where I throw the dry ice at inky and he starts to shiver. At this point i have no idea what to do and I tried to pick up the dry ice again from the refrigerator. Apparently it did not disappear when I picked it up the first time. When I tried to pick it up again the game crashed to desktop.

My question is this, without giving me much of a spoiler, is the dry ice supposed to disappear when I pick it up the first time and throw at inky or is it supposed to stay in the fridge for 'other uses' as well? Because if I do not need the dry ice after making Inky shiver I'll just leave it alone and think of another way to get passed him. However, if I DO need to use the dry ice for something else then I am stuck.

Please help.

You have thrown the dry ice at inky. And that is enough. Forget about the dry ice and try something else.

Ok so I will try to get past inky without throwing an infinite amount of ice at him. I also noticed other item bugs where I can pick up (this time invisible) cut-up sun backgrounds from the stage again. Also I can pick up my coffin AFTER it is in the water. In fact - the coffin has now been cloned since there is one copy floating in the water and another in the basement. I assume those are also bugs and I do not need to worry about those items again.

Update: I found the perfume bottle and was able to get past inky. However, once again through a bug it seems. The perfume bottle was INVISIBLE on my screen. Next to the bed the icon just lights up red 'Perfume Refill Bottle'. There is no object there but a bed post on my screen, which explains why I never saw it before. Anyone else getting these weird glitches? Btw I restarted the game and looked at the bed and also saw nothing.

That is right. You don't have to throw ice at him again. You have to do something else to him. The bugs you mentioned, i had the same, except for the coffin. I had problems with the perfume bottle; had to manually alter a savegame to continue. But i succeeded. I don't think the coffin issues will cause you trouble. Just do one thing to inky and youre done with it.
