"Black Mirror" Original CD issue.

I have been trying to get my game The Black Mirror to play in Vista (I know, there's going to be problems), but my problem doesn't seem to be Vista related. When ever I click on the icon, the title screen comes up, I can see the progress bar begin, then all of a sudden it says I need to use the Original CD. It doesn't matter if I put the 1st or 2nd CD in, I always get the same message. This is not a hacked version, but an actual store bought version.

Any ideas what is going on?

When I started having problems like this on my Vista machine it was because Sony's SecuRom DRM software had been unknowingly installed on my machine (thanks EA!) causing all kinds of emulation problems, one of which was my machine constantly telling me that I needed the "original disk" though, duh, of course that is what I had in there.
