Syberia: problem with game, its too fast.

I just downloaded the demo and the graphic looks great, but the gameplay is way too fast, the character's walking speed is as fast as running, and when I tried to talk, the conversation text stopped right in the middle and another new conversation comes up, so now I have two or more voice talk at the same time, and this keeps continues. :frusty:

I'm using a laptop playing the game, so is this the reason of the problem? And if anyone else has experienced this problem please help me.

Also I have been trying to find other Syberia game forums so could anyone direct it me?

you might want to email your information about your problem to microids. they may not even know about it

I had this same problem with the first game, which Microids later fixed with a patch. I haven't tried the new demo yet (don't worry, sooner or later I will) so I'm afraid I can't be much help.

Heh, when I glanced at the title of this thread, the meaning that came to mind was "The plot of Syberia movies too fast" and I chuckled to myself...

The problem is limited to computers with P4 processors which have Hyperthreading technology. A patch to correct it was released immediately after S1 came out. It is likely that the same patch will fix the problem with S2. Or a similar patch will be released that addresses the same problem. Unfortunately, the patch cannot be applied to the demos.

So are you guys saying for sure when I got the full game and applied the patch it will 100% solve the problem. If so I will order my copy of the game right now, if not I don't want waste $20 for nothing.
