I am switching from PC to MacPro for my studio photography. Newest version of xeon quad. I have a lot of very old Mac games which I think will not work on the new Mac. Myst series, Obsidian etc. Does anyone know of a method to get these games to run on the newest Mac or should I just leave these games undusted. It would be fun to go at these titles again, it's been years and I loved these. However, I just thought I would ask you folks as you are the pick of the crop. Thanks, Me.

Boot Camp is the ticket, but you'll need a copy of Windows (which I asusme you have if you had a PC before). Look in /Applications/Utilities for the Boot Camp Assistant.

you'll need a copy of Windows (which I asusme you have if you had a PC before). If it came from a company like Dell or some other box maker, it came with an image, specific to that machine, instead of an install disc. Even if it came with an install disc, that copy of Windows will be validated on that PC.

He said they were Mac games, not Windows games.

TCrowe, I've bumped my head on this problem a bit in the past, but never had much luck. Unfortunately, Intel Macs don't have any support for pre-OSX stuff.

There's an article here (http://www.atpm.com/12.09/classic.shtml) that I found useful, though.

Ah, sorry, I wasn't paying attention there :)

and Collector... Dells do come with original OS media. Trust me :)
(it won't let you activate on non-Dell hardware though)
