Hello, my name is Jordi and I am trying to learn English playing Adventure Games. The last week I bought Syberia in "The aventure shop" but I would like to play this game in windows mode (for checking words in a online dictionary or for writing down new words). Is posible to play in window mode instead fullscreen with Syberia?
Besides, I will like to know which Adventure games there are for playing easly in window mode (with a easy option on setup to select the mode). Can anyone help me??
Thank you very much;
Jordi.

In most games it's possible to shift between programs/game with a key combination on the keyboard. Usually it's the left ALT + TAB.
That way you can shift between the game and your online dictionary

Yes, thank you Misslilo. I knew this, but sometimes I have problem when I go back to the game and is not practical...
I know that there are games with this option in setup but I don't know which games are they...
Thank you;

Sorry then. I myself haven't found out if it's possible to run in window mode.
To be honest, I doubt it is.

You could try using the Alt-Esc on the left side of the keyboard (if it doesn't work, it'll just collapse the game to the task bar and hitting it again will bring it back up. If it works, it should go into window mode).
If the Alt-Esc doesn't work, one other thing you may be able to try is to find the exe file and rename it by putting a -w or -window at the end of it (I think you put it past the .exe portion. If that doesn't work, it could mean that it just isn't possible with this game.
In which case, using the Alt-tab may be your only option.
Welcome to AG by the way! :)

I don't think that it is possible easily with this game without something like virtualPC. If you don't mind older games, any of the DOS games can be played in DOSBox windowed.

The new broken sword has an option to run in a window. Also, any game on scumm vm can be ran very easily in a window. Hope this helps
PS i wouldn't use Sam and Max to learn english, although they can be windowed. Its only because they use very bizzare words.
