I just installed the game and can't get it to play. When it starts it says "loading" and then a black screen with one of the game cursers on it. My computer freezes and I actually have to unplug it to get it unstuck. As far as I know, I have the latest Directx installed.

What are the specs of your computer?

I don't know what the specs of the game are specifically, but the website says it's not a CPU or RAM hungry game.

The other thing is to shut off your background programs and turn off your antivirus while you play in case those are interfering.

I would also suggest emailing TriSynergy (http://www.trisynergy.com/support/). If they know what your computer specs are and they're getting other reports, they may be able to pinpoint the problem. These games get tested for bugs but once they get out into the wilds, some others may show up.

Maybe others will have some suggestions. Good luck! :)

Hi skyseast,

this could be also a driver issue. Please make sure, that you've updated your video and sound card drivers to the latest versions. The version really does matter. Also try to turn off background programs / firewalls / antivirus software. The US version uses an external copy protection mechanism which might be blocked by them, although none of the many testers ever reported such behavior.

I'd also suggest reinstalling the game to verify if there was no problem during installation.

Hope that helps and if you want, come over at http://www.ghostinthesheet.com/forum and we can help you better there.

Kind regards,
Jan

Just out of curiosity, what antivirus software are you using, skyseast?

I'm using Comodo Antivirus.
