Hello!
I'm posting to let everyone know I've updated the Delaware St. John website Orders page to make purchasing directly from Big Time Games available.
Many people have been wondering where to get Volume 3 and while some have shown up in Target, they don't seem to be in all stores. Hopefully this will make ordering easier!

Is it considered acceptable forum etiquette for commercial developers to pimp their own software on a public forum?
Please note, I said 'commercial' in that I assume Delaware St John Vol.3 isn't freeware suddenly?

Sure it is. They're very welcome to draw attention to their games. There's probably a point at which it becomes too much, but no one has ever come close to abusing the privilege.
Just like it's okay for me to pimp Delaware St. John 3 at The Adventure Shop (http://adventureshop.gamesplanet.com/produit.html?product_id=430&category_id=14&affilie=AG). :D
Yeah, I'd say it's not a problem unless it gets out of hand. After all, they make the games for us to play them, right? And if no one tells us they're out there, we don't get to play them.
Now if someone were to derail every single thread or spam like crazy, then it would be an issue. That isn't the case here.
It's a win win situation in this case. They tell us about a new game we'll enjoy, and we give them money to support their works/family. Nothing wrong with that.
The game looks pretty cool from what I've seen of it. I'm not a huge First Person adventure fan, but I'll be sure to tell a few of my friends who are.

You base your recommendations to your friends on what you've seen of it?!
Do you also recommend books based on their covers too? ;)
Based on actual personal experience of Vol.1, I would say this needs all the (free) advertising it can possibly get. But each to their own of course. Even Tom_K above - a former 3rd person 'exclusive' fan is apparently a convert! :)
If you turn off Adblock Plus (Firefox) and then happen to notice the presumably paid-for flash advertising on this very page, then one can only assume that the bacon is being fatted for later consumption.

I'm not sure what you're trying to get at there, but if you have comments about the ads we have on the site to help us keep it online, please post in the Feedback forum.

Ha ha, very funny. I said I'd TELL them about the game, not recommend it. :P
