7th Guest bedspread puzzle

I know it's only the second puzzle in the game but I'm already having troubles, though they might be technical not skill related.

When I face the bedspread puzzle, the one with the flowers and letters, the finger just keeps wagging and I can't click on anything. Am I doing something wrong?

If this is the puzzle I think it is Stauf will have said something like "skipping threes and skipping fives" when you go into the puzzle.
Starting at one end of the trail (the outside of the loop if I recall correctly) you have to form a sentence. You are only allowed to move either 3 or 5 spaces (in either direction) so you should find unused letters that many steps from your last move are available (i.e. bring up the swrily eye cursor instead of the wagging hand)

You can insert spaces by clicking on a star
