Riddle of the Sphinx

I am in the Great Pyramid of Cheops in the Queen's Chamber. I am using the robot car to go through the long, long tunnel. I come to the end (mystery door) but I am never able to type the necesarry numbers on the date retrieval panel. I know the number is (0217+ 1334 = 1551)

I hold the forward button forever and nothing happens.

Any ideas?

I had a problem like that on The Omega stone and I had to hit enter first then key in.
