Broken Sword 3 - game stopping bug

I'm at the stage in Paris where Nico has recovered the DVD and drawing from the safe in Vernon's apartment. After she leaves the apartment there's a cut scene in the street when the red car tries to run her over. My problem is the cut scene just keeps repeating over and over. As soon as it ends it starts again. I'm guessing that's not the end of the game. Anyone know a way around this bug? If not could someone possibly have a saved game from right after this scene?

Its an action event, are you pressing the buttons that show on screen?

Huh? Didn't know I had to press buttons. It looks just like a cut scene. I'll have another try.

Yeh, it should flash up saying buttons.
The reason it keeps on playing it over and over is because you "fail" the scene. Let me know if this helps.

I feel so silly. It was one of those part cut scene part action. It starts out as a cut scene and then you have to press a button to take some action. I should have known because it already happened twice before in this game. You just don't see this kind of thing very often in adventure games.
