[Solved]Worst pixel hunt EVER - SQ6 - HELP!

OK, I've decided to finish the entire Space Quest canon once and for all. I am nearly done with SQ6, my least favorite by far. Here is the problem:

I need to get back in my ship and head to Stellar's Brain. I have refueled the engine with the silver filling, I have everything I need... BUT I CAN'T FIND THE FREAKING DOOR TO THE SHIP. Numerous walkthroughs comment on the difficulty of finding it, and merely advise to "just keep trying" ... damn them to hell. I simply cannot take hearing that simpering Roger keep repeating "Oh, that heat tile looks loose..."

Can someone advise me to the EXACT location of the door pixel so I can reenter the ship and finish this damned game???

Thanks for moving this, mods. I finally solved it. To all those with the same problem, here is the answer: it's the dark blob of purplish pixels immediately behind the wide front area of the ship, on the LEFT side of the ship, which is on the RIGHT side of the screen. Perhaps 1/4 of the way back on the ship.
