i dont get why people post here asking for a simple link, by the time your done with all the typing and putting it in the forums you could of gone to yahoo or google and typed in "dos box" and downloaded the program already :P

Besides, many people can't be bothered to check something out if it requires they open up a new window and search out the link themselves.

I love DOSBox... I made this guide (http://magicball.net/forum/showpost.php?p=172798) for using Little Big Adventure 1 and Little Big Adventure 2 with DOSBox. :)

I agree with that, except what I don't understand is that if they can't bother doing that, how come they bother posting here asking for the link (which is at least twice as bothersome imho)?

Maybe they're doing it for the benefit of future readers of the thread? Why bother posting the information in the first place if you cant just add a [url] into the mix? You've clearly got the site open or in your recent browser history when making the post :) Its just sort of standard nettequite to include relevant links to what you're talking about.

That said, it's not that hard to go look it up yourself ¬ ¬

@guybrush

I consider as a matter of nettique that if you refer some information in your post you found on the net, to quote the source. Just the way you quote an author when doing an essay. ;)

@remixor

thanks mate for the link :)
