Black Dahlia Cheats.....How do you use them ???

Hi there

I'm just too lazy to work out the puzzles on Black Dahlia (PC)(UK), so I looked up cheats for this game and here's what it said:

Press F2 while a puzzle is displayed to obtain the number of that particular puzzle. Enter the corresponding case-sensitive code at the puzzle screen to skip that section of the game.

I followed the instructions as stated above, I did get the number of the puzzle (p8) but there was nowhere to type in the cheat.

Can someone explain where I'm going wrong? Or give me a step by step guide to using this cheat. Thanks :)

I would recommend that you download a walkthrough instead, and follow that. They are usually good enough. I once tried the same as you are trying to do, and failed. However, back in the olden days I used to buy the official strategy guides from either Bradygames or Prima. They contain lots of information, in addition to being fun reading. I hope this is a start at least..

As far as I remember, you literally just type the code when you're on the puzzle's screen. You don't enter it into anything or see anything onscreen as you do so.
