Does anyone remember Access Software's Countdown? This is from the beginning, the first time the (amnesic) hero remembers something about his past.

I played this game long ago, but apart from a metallic voice saying "Get Scorpio" (in the hero's clouded memories) and who the bad guy was (and how this was revealed at the very end), I can't remember anything about it, not even the plot (well, there was the hero's amnesia, of course, and terrorists, I think). I should replay it one day.

Wow! I thought I'd never find out what that game was called...I played it years and years ago. Only last week I thought I'd google, but could barely remember anything about it except the amnesia and escaping an asylum...

Oh man, escaping the asylum was torture (particularly if you reached the exit and forgot an item). A lot of timed/actiony sequences (and I *believe the entire game was timed). Don't think I ever finished this one, but it was pretty good fun.
