i was wondering how mutch profit BS3 and the black mirror made, i hate the fact when companys make great or half decent adventure games no one will buy them so, the game maker wont (most likey) make an other adventure game.

im guessing that broken sword made a profit but 70% was over seas. and i'm not sure about the black mirror. what about monkey island 4? i dont think that made mutch money at all. i fear if lucas arts made an other adventure game ( a good one) it would'nt get the respect it diservs.

i hate the fact that adventure games are a dying bread, if its not dying then its evolving.

Is dying bread like moldy bread?

Considering that BS3 has been out for only two months, I think it still has a chance to make more money since I still see it on store shelves.

I'm not sure if anybody outside the companies that made those games really knows how much they made. Companies don't typically release that kind of information. I tried doing a quick search on Google and didn't find anything useful. There are some video game sellers like EB Games that I believe give a ranked list of their sales. Of course, that only tells you how many copies they sold. But something like that would probably be your best bet for figuring out where these games stand compared to other video games.

Are we talking about bread or breed here? :D I don't think bread can actually die :)

I'm hoping the Black Mirror didn't make mutch money at all. It looks like a boring rip off of the post 95 era of mystery, mythical games. I'd really like the "remake the classic" notion all of these awful independent companies have when developing new adventures to die. DIe.ds fds eat it
