I never played that, but it looks interesting.

On a side note: Wreck, are you anywhere near Montgomery County?

The name is in the screenshot again, heh heh. Though I knew it without looking. Great game for kids (at least this kid).

I'm pretty sure that the "scene of the day" threads aren't meant to be guessing games. I like to see them more as a nostalgic form of daily eye-candy.

And I vaguely remember playing this game, although it might have been its sequel. It was a little childish from what I recall (for however old I was at the time - maybe 13?).

I'm in Ellicott City. About 20 minutes from Montgomery. 20 minutes from Baltimore. Pretty close to Rt 100 and I-70.

Minor thread hijacking: I know just where that is! My dad lives in Sykesville, and I've been to the Normandy center for sushi about a billion times. Sometimes I go to the Enchanted Forest center, also. I had a number of friends who lived there and went to UMBC.

I'm in northern Mont. Co. Good times!

Ok, back to subject: Who was EcoQuest aimed at? Children, or adults? Was this a Dynamix production? I remember seeing it for sale in the Chips N Bits ads of the period, but always preferred the more "hardcore" games of King's Quest and whatnot.

It looks interesting in retrospect, though.

It was a kids' game which was designed to instill environmental awareness in the little ones. I think it was indeed Dynamix-made.

Interesting! Is it available anywhere, in any form? Or is this one of those consigned to history due to poor sales and the resultant unlikelihood of rerelease?

It's one of those games that shows up on eBay once in a while:

Disregard the air purifier stuff at the bottom. :P
