Was looking through one of my old PC mags from 1998:
Drop it on my scanner and here it is..

Excellent ad. Almost as good as the one for Revengers of Vengeance, my personal candidate for worst game ever.

Not being sarcastic, I like the GF ad, and the RoV ad is so B-movie campy it's great.

When I open it the first time it look great but at that time I didn't play many games and adventure games I didn't play for sure.
Now the ad just stands out so much more to me that I like to play adventure games.

Cool, I've never seen this one before. I also have a two-paged magazine ad right here lying next to me. It's German. And very black in colour. On the left page you can see a close-up of Manny in his white smoking holding a cigarette, on the right it says in white letters:

He has style!
He has charme!
He is absolutely DEAD!

Below that is a small Grim Fandango logo, some two even smaller screenshots and a few lines of text covering the plot's premise. I like that too, especially since its double-paged nature, the stylish black-ness is really everywhere, no matter where you look. Remember... "He is absolutely DEAD!" :D

here's hoping they still turn it into a feature film one day.

no point.
the game offers great film qualities and great game qualities.
a film would just be that minus the interactivity.

The game is a true classic. No movies or remakes please.

Yes a remake would not be good. maybe update it so it plays on XP better?
Or does the patch help with that. haven't tried it yet.

a film, no but a sequal, that'd be wonderful!

I wouldn't mind a sequel as long as Tim Schafer is leading the charge.
