Broken sword crashes all the time...

Its really disappointing. it crashes on startup, on save, during gameplay.

All drivers are updated.
System is XP Pro SP2
Athlon64 3000+
Geforce 6600 GT
OnBoard Sound (RealTek, Acceleration is reduced to "Standard")

is there a patch coming?

I've played with some settings and it didn't crash anymore since yesterday
thats what i did:
Disabled Data Execution Prevention for BS4
Disabled FSAA

--> No crashes!
