Kings Quest IV. I never finished that one. Been meaning to give it a go again, and probably will with the new compilation being released finally.

That was my introduction to adventure games. My dad's friend lent it to me because she couldn't get past a certain part... I was completely hooked. I am practically drooling to play it again in this new compilation!!!

I remember that, that was the first old King's Quest game I played and completed (I had played King's Quest VII before). I was playing the English version, and I managed to complete it with the text parser despite my English skill only being basic at the time.

And I remember that getting up and down that staircase was hell. I can't remember how many times I died climbing that stair, just because I moved a millimetre too far in one direction.

The only thing that was worse than the staircase, was the whale's tongue.
