I've looked for this for a long time and have failed. The only one I can find was the EA rerelease. Very nice.

Gold Rush: Original Box
:9~ Loved that game! Unfortunately, I lost my copy somewhere. :frown:
Nice collection! And what's more, all those boxes are in excellent condition! I think I have more boxed games, but no really rare ones, nor very old ones. Plus, mine aren't all in perfect shape with some scratches or small dents here and there. :frown: I took some pictures a few months ago. I might post them if I can still find them.
It's always fun to see pictures of people's AG collections! It always makes me dreamy about how many adventure games there are still out there that I haven't played yet. :)

Now here's a question: if you live in Maryland, why do you have the UK release of And Then There Were None? Wasn't it released in the US at the same time?
Oh, and nice collection :).

Oh, and nice collection :).
Because I ordered both. I try to get every release they have of every game if possible. Sometimes the U.S. Versions cut stuff out and change box covers.

Do the games get that frustrating that you need the Smirnoff's handy? :P
I'm kidding of course.

Atleast the cd-roms work.Fortunately.

Yes itīs the original box.I found the game at a online auction and couldnīt resist buying it.:)
The game is on old 5 1/4 floppy discs so i cant play unfortunately.
(my computer only has a 3.5 discdrive).
What a great collection HamHam. I just love looking at fan's collections - especially with LucasArts boxes all lumped together as a group. So pretty!

Gold Rush: Original Box
Ah, that's great. Do you have the huge history book in it? You had to look through it to get past the copy protection in the beginning.
It was never electronically spread, so people who wanted to play the game illegaly had to use the one crack that existed for this game, which was awful, since it a) corrupted the companies logo screen, and b) killed the triggers for timed events when playing in a speed higer than normal, as evident in the following wrong statement in Adventure Gamer's review (http://www.adventuregamers.com/article/id,524) of the game:
Due to the simple nature of the AGI engine, modern computers should have no problem playing this game. There is one bug in GR! that involves the 'Fast' speed setting, which causes the game's clock to stop running. This prevents timed events from occurring, such as mail being delivered to you at the post office. You'll probably be able to recognize situations in which a timed trigger is required, so in those cases, temporarily change the game's speed setting to 'Slow' or 'Normal'.
As it turns out, the game can be played just perfect on Fast setting even on modern machines, provided you don't use that old crack.
Too bad the recent rerelease didn't include that history book.

Very nice pics. I've been meaning to photograph my game collection for some time but I never get around to it. I have somewhere around 250 games. All for PC. Not sure how many of them are adventures.

Nice collections you've got there people.
My collection is currently scattered between 2 apartments in various boxes
Once I get my own apartment I plan to build a game shrine... ok, a display case for all my games, mostly adventures.

I miss old-style cardboard boxes.
The UK only gets DVD cases, or every now and again something like the Syberia box. But mostly boring DVD cases.

I love looking at collection pictures too.
As most of us are into collecting to some degree, why not have a forum topic for this. Each person can start their own thread with their collection pics, and even pics of individual items. We could even use it to request photos of games were after.
And on the UK DVD case and big box subject. I really dislike big boxes. I much prefer nice compact cases, or even better, those DVD gatefolds in a slipcase (like morrowind and oblivion).
