Well I spent the last 3 hours on Gimp trying to make a DVD cover for my Broken Sword 3 CDs (I hate Jewel cases). Never done anything like this before but it seems to have come out ok. Can't figure out how to get rid of the Moby Games water mark. Images sources are the games website and moby games for box art. Don't have a printer to finish the job. Guess I'll have to see my folks when I get a chance. Finally got to put my tablet to some good use after having it for years. Probably stepped on some copyright toes doing this but I don't see any harm in the project. Feel free to dump your CDs into a dual disk DVD case and use this cover as long as you do something nasty to the @#%#ing jewel case.

Hmm, is it my impression or the dimension of that cover would not fit a whatever dvd case? :D
Anyway, having seen the future cover, I can tell yours is way better.

I used someone else's custom DVD cover image for a size template :frown: so I'm hoping that it will be very close and I can alway adjust by adding a little black around the edges (or even stretch the image a bit). I'll try printing the low res pdf version when I get to university today.

As for "future" version, what future version? They don't intend to re-release Broken Sword 3 (The Sleeping Dragon) as a DVD in North America do they? I'm not aware of a DVD version floating around outside of Europe.

Whoops sorry, it's Broken Sword 3 right. Anyway, still better than the original one, might I add :D

Here is the final result:

Some things messed up when printing so it was slightly short on the ends and the cutter in the library looked like it had been dragged behind a truck a few times and so didn't cut well. I'm happy with it :) . I'll add a DVD case project for my old adventure games when I get some time.

I found a good place for templates and inspiration:

Are those the cd of the american edition or you stamped those too? :)

They are the Canadian bargain bin jewel case edition. Soo probably the same as what they have down in the states. Are you implying that my CD are pirated? You ? Adventure games would stop being produced (or at lest being ship to North America) if the few of us that enjoy adventure games don't support them. Besides its hardly worth pirating a $12.99 CAD game. I'll take the original thanks.

[Edit] I could just be off base here. When I see stamped commercial software CDs/DVDs, the first thing I think of is glitchy pirated stuff. If you just thought that I didn't like the look of the CDs and I stamped them... Then I'm sorry for jumping on you. :)

Hey don't be, I buy all my games original too, and BS3 especially deserved to be bought! :D
