Not been playing traditional adventure games for a long while now (unless Danganronpa counts), but hearing some music from the first Broken Sword reminded me of this site, and nostalgia kicked in to an earlier time when I obsessed about this genre.

One of the things that made my favourite adventure games so memorable was the music. So, lets list our favourites, shall we. Maximum of 10 I suppose. Here’s mine:

1. Broken Sword 1
2. Grim Fandango
4. Myst III: Exile
3. Discworld Noir
5. Myst IV: Revelation
6. Curse of Monkey Island
7. Discworld 2
8. Ankh 1
9. Riven

The truth can’t hurt you, it’s just like the dark: it scares you witless but in time you see things clear and stark. - Elvis Costello
Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
