That game is the perfect example why i cringe when a smaller developer announces theyr doing episodic.. because theres a high risk of it turning into… “we’re going to release a small game and see what happens from there”
IMO episodic must mean concrete schedule.

Top 5 of the year in no order would be Sunset, Shades of Black, Her Story, Prominence and Life is Strange. Beyond Eyes and BOUT2 were good too. There have been quite a few disappointments as well but a couple of decent adventures is not a bad year in my book.
