Broken Sword Cutscenes problems

I've got Win 98 and since I got the insert cd problem in Broken Sword,I got scummvm and downloaded the videos.I've pointed the extra tab to the videos folder.The game starts alright but the cutscenes don't work.I get a message in the main scummvm window saying frame no 1 dropped etc.I've tried copying the videos to the main folder but even that doesn't work.The video files don't seem to work with Windows Media player as well.I've got all the files except the video in one folder.I've renamed the speech files to speech1 ,speech 2.The speech works fine.Should I download any codecs?I've got the latest version of scummvm.Someone please help.I'm dying to play this game

If you have win98 there should be no reason to play with scumm. If you get the no cd problem,wait a few more seconds before pushing the button again.
If it's a burnt copy,then sorry I can't be any more help.

Thanks for the help Cathy.It works fine now.Changing the cd rom drive letters worked.I have the sold out version so that wasn't the problem.Thanks again
