right. so I just imported this game on dvd from the UK.
I'm in the tutorial. During the action sequence when the car runs at me, the left arrow lights up blue and I hit the left arrow on my computer subsequently. The problem is that the game doesn't seem to react and the car runs me over anyway. I tried using the mouse as well.
Did this happen to anyone else? Am I doing something wrong?

Sounds like you're not reacting quickly enough?

I don't think so....I've tried it like 20 times.

Check to see if your keyboard configuration is set up right? I don't know.
I played on Xbox so I didn't have any problems.

I had this problem as well, the tutorial's not particularly clear in explaining this part. If I remember correctly, you need to press the left arrow on both the arrow keys and the numpad at the same moment, but the tutorial's explanation could give the impression you just need to do one of the two. If this isn't the problem, then I don't know.

I got the Xbox version so never got that problem myself.

It'd be a problem in both versions I think. If BenjaminBunny's problem is the same as the one I had, it's more to do with the tutorial's explanation of how the Simon sequences work being a little vague, than an actual control issue.

You sure? 'Cause I had absolutely no problem understanding the tutorial. Might have to do with perfect timing.

I had the same problem as Junkface (maybe when you're playing with a gamepad it's obvious that you have to use both, but not really with a keyboard --- if the tutorial had been well thought out, it would have used two different directions, making it clear that you had to press both at the same time). So maybe that's BenjaminBunny's problem too.

Yeah I was failing miserably at those sequences until I realized you needed to use the numpad. After that I didn't miss any sequence at all.
