So what’s Jane Jensen up to these days?

I liked the GK remake and think it gets much more crap than it deserves. I would still like to have full 3D for a GK4 though. Moebius was nothing special but had its moments. Gray Matter was really good. I hope that Jensen will keep writing more games.

Personally, from an old fan who played GK when it was brand new, I thought that the remake was serviceable. For New players it might even be great.

The remake had it’s problems, like the new content that wasn’t that great and the art direction that was a tad even IF not combared to the vibrant style of the original. But overall, I’d say it is a good way for a new player to get into the series.

New player have standard of TTG writing and KQ or LiS graphics.
Else they will ignore.
I was talking to some gamers on PS4 communities, majority value story over anything, most cant fathom puzzles or intrusions.
Puzzles just arent their thing.

Unless its advertised or presented like The Witness.

Looks and sounds better definitely.
Infact 2D would have done the job.
I still reckon , Daedelic can make great team with JJ.

Telltale

Do you think TTG can write better or JJ, nowadays?
Serious question. Sealed Lips

Lol, loaded question but I didn’t care for Gray Matter and Moebius was a mess so answer is simple. Telltale factory has the clear edge on this one. That said, what I meant is that given the tools JJ could probably write a kick ass drama series with Telltale or Don’tNod.

No i meant , does TTG need JJ?
They can write GK themselves or better?

When i said Daedelic i meant they lack good narrative but greaat art.
So…

Edit:

You didnt care for GM but Disneyinfinity.

Ah, that makes more sense, I guess they don’t need but so doesn’t Daeadlic, I would say Animation Arts if that is the point.

(If GM had Solo and Leia I would probably care more about it Tongue )

I think you might be overestimating TTG here. They know how to write compelling characters but GK needs much more than that. Although it would be interesting to see them have a go at it.

Taking plane to get a single item is a good idea of puzzle?
I think puzzles as we knew before have not been revitalized properly even by experts.
Hope you catch my drift.

Yeah you would play that too Wink

Daedalic art in that Rabbit game came to mind when i first saw Anglophile pic.

Compare and decide.
Now imagine.
I think Daedalic would be open to team up with her.

The African Voodoo religion, Ludwig II of Bavaria with Wagners lost opera, religious mystery at Rennes-le-Château… what’s next? I’m not convinced that TTG could pull of an equally fascinating subject on their own. Their lack of puzzles is the least of my concerns.  Wink

Voodoo, werewolves, and vampires, and magic. Hardly fascinating. JJ is mistress of the cliché.

JJ is very good with cliches thought. She’s very much a genre writer, but a good one at that.

I agree but you mentioned old old titles.
I wish the puzzle i mentioned from Moebius has anything as Intellectual as Gk3 puzzles or plot.
As i asked if that JJ is there anymore.
GM was great but its puzzles were Ok.

Problem with working with Telltale is that they don’t do new IPs. Sometimes there’s no need for new IPs to make fascinating games, I could see JJ working on a Justice League Dark/Constantine or The Wicked + The Divine game series.

Yeah you would play that too Wink

LOL, good one, (is that available as DLC? Tongue )
