Now available at Gamespot (http://www.gamespot.com/pc/adventure/longestjourney2wt/news.html?sid=6136121).
I haven't got much time to read through it myself right now, but here's a heads up for anyone that's interested. :)

It's pretty much an intro to the developer diary. I'm looking forward to the next one where they will really get started.
BTW, there are some new screenshots: http://www.gamespot.com/xbox/adventure/longestjourney2wt/screenindex.html

Is it just me, or are those XBOX screenshots a little blurry and not as nice as the PC ones?

Yes indeed they are, but they are still nice.
What I especially like, is the camera close-up when talking to someone. Over the years, those distant camera angles really started to annoy me. Now throw in some nice facial expressions and I can die in peace. :D

See, that's one of the things I'm looking forward to, Voodsie. I'm sick of feeling like I'm some kind of voyeuristic sniper watching from a quarter mile away during an in-game dialogue sequence. I'm suffering through that right now playing Still Life.

I am truly looking forward to this.
The Longest Journey was a philosophical hefty-thinky game, definitely a noggin-buster of phenomenal proportions. I'm curious what the developers have in store for us. I'm mostly curious about the [spoiler start] balance, as I haven't been able to glean much about it. Yet at the end of the Longest Journey, the last line was "And soon after, the balance fell.", I cheered at this. I wholly support the idea of the balance falling and a World of beauty, nonstacity and magic where all these things are considered normal, a World of cold, hard logic, steel, repression, right-wing thought and order (with righteous Science and boring people) becoming combined in some way or falling in on each other, ligerally. And the dream realm folding into this however it might. Of course, if the balance doesn't fall there'll be hell to pay. ;p I'll be watching the developer's diaries though for even the scantest mention of the balance and what the story's actually about this time. Perhaps I haven't wanted to find out much thus far which is why I haven't researched too heavily but my curiousity about this is getting the best of me [spoiler finish].
Anyway, I'm very curious about the kind of minds that could actually write and create such things, I'm all for strangeness and Morrisian thought-provoking. I'm looking forward to this so damned much so I'll be giving into my curiousity and reading this, I might spoil a thing or too but I can't wait any longer, there are some things I have to know and seeing them spoken of by the people who're actually working on this masterpiece will make it all the better.
