My Dreamfall fansite Black House has changed servers and domain name and because of that I went ahead and changed the layout too. I'm still tweaking it a bit, but it's ready to be visited.

So if you're interested; drop by http://www.black-house.net and don't forget to check the image gallery (http://www.black-house.net/images.html) and the forums (http://www.black-house.net/forums/)! :)

The main section of the template looks a little broken when I view it at a high resolution (1440x900), with the borders of this section sticking out beyond the borders of the top and bottom of the page.

Aside from that, I like the design :). Honest! :D

Very nice! Even with my pathetically slow dial up connection, it loaded pretty fast for me. :)

Wow, I didn't know you ran that site. It's a pretty nice place for Dreamfall stuff. I've visited it before in the past. And it's one of the few places you can get good Dreamfall wallpapers.

Thanks guys. Glad you like it :).

Can you be a bit more specific? I can't go that high, so I can't test it out myself :P. Is it badly broken though? I'd like to try to fix it if it is.

I run in 1600x1200 and use Firefox and get those same errors.

^ Jeez, I can't even imagine using a resolution that high. My laptop is at the highest it can go (1024 x 768). The site looks fine for me.

That's odd, because I used Adobe GoLive :P.

I'll have a look at it later, see if I can find the problem for you.
Thanks, Aj :).

Nothing fills me with as much cynicism as a messageboard with a dozen separete forums and six posts grand total.

Some Frontpage code snuck in from black-house.clan-ka.net. GoLive, out of the frying pan, into the fire. I don't recommend using editors to create pages, but if you're looking for a development enviroment Dreamweaver is the bomb.

The page is fundamentally broken, well 2 pages, which is probably the biggest problem. You can't stick a html page of code into another one. The GoLive page is declared as XHTML and it is not, it is a valid HTML 4 page though. The Frontpage code, surprisingly /sarcasm, not valid, and needs to be touched up.

Declare the doctype as HTML 4 unless you're going to use XHTML, it's pretty strict. You could always use a frame to "embed"* the page. Clean up some of the errors the validator spews and you should have no problems.

It makes the development process run smoother. More screen real estate and less moving crap around. ;)
