Does anyone have a saved game for right after the fire is put out at the ruins. I cannot make it back to the ruins before the timer runs out

I seem to have an appropriate savegame, but it's too big to upload as an attachment here. Let me tell you this: check out this thread (http://forums.adventuregamers.com/showthread.php?t=8132) for good advice how to pass this timed sequence. This way you get more satisfaction and don't risk opening incompatible save file (mine is from translated version of the game). If it fails, leave me a private message and I'll send you the file by email.

By the way, I just discovered that Sherlock saved games are kept in jpeg format. Neat. :D
