Those that gave 7 points to KQI: do you really think it’s *that* good, or are you voting for it because of it’s importance to our genre?

It’s both for me. Definitely important, but also a great open-world adventure that allows you to go wherever you want, climb trees, search stumps for hidden treasure, do all kind of silly stuff. Roberta tried to keep that approach in Colonel’s Bequest too, even though it was plot-driven. That’s how I like my games.

Ha! I never finished KQI, so I don’t have to vote for it!
And I haven’t played any of the others… Meh

Wait, you haven’t played GK2?!

There are somethings that are forgivable Tim, but this is not one of those things.

I think it is actually a fantastic game - like doom said, it is a completely open world adventure, you can swim, climb things, and you can do things in whatever order you . It may not have the most in depth story or memorable characters like so many of the most popular adventure games, but I still thin it’s a good game and does a lot that even games today could learn from.

Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons (7 points)
Sanitarium (5 points)
Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within (3 points)

This is impossible. All these three games are worthy of maximum points in my book.

You obviously haven’t checked the “Next in line” part of my signature… Wink

Than you have to play GK2 NOW, so you can still vote for it. (though it has enough points to end up on top anyway)

You’ll regret it if you don’t anyway…..this is simply a game you can’t ignore or postpone for too long….it’s weird enough you didn’t sofar, what with all the other games you actually did play.  Laughing

Or..you could play Judgement Rites which needs more votes and is the better game. Except for those dastardly battle sequences Frown
But no really, it’s an absolute must play (but so are nearly all the games. I don’t know what “Corpse Party” is though)

Oh, the horror! What are you waiting for?
You can finish GK2 in about 10 hours, if you don’t watch all the cutscene’s in their fullest, so you’re still in time for the vote Smile
