I have a love of computer games in general that was passed onto me from my dad, who had owned everything from a Commodore 64 onwards.
I may be young but I remember great things like cartridges, disks (not CDs but disks, and not just 3 1/2 inch, but also 5 1/4)
I also have a love of journalism thanks to the semi-journalistic novels of the beat generation, as well as Hunter S Thompson's brand of gonzo journalism, and modern rock journalism.
With these powers combined, I'm not only Captain Planet, but also a very happy man, with this being my first job in journalism.... if only I could combine it with my love of fame and ridiculous amounts of cash.
