‘Tis the week of Halloween, but no trick-or-treaters will go near that old Welsh house called Ty Pryderi. You know the one… that remote farmstead where the Sullivans took their 15-year-old daughter a while back. The house where she heard noises and saw visions until finally her parents were forced to take her away. They say the house is haunted. They say its ghosts are the otherworldly remnants of an ancient rivalry between a warrior prince and an evil wizard, carried on even centuries after their deaths. No way, the kids won’t go near that house.

But you will.

At least, you will if you plan to play Rhiannon: Curse of the Four Branches, the new supernatural mystery from Arberth Studios. Due for imminent release in the UK, Rhiannon is a modern day tale that sends players into Ty Pryderi to investigate its strange paranormal events. With a backdrop formed from classic Welsh historical legends, the game promises to blur the lines not only between past and present, but reality and myth as well. It’s up to you to discover the age-old secrets and prevent the house from claiming an innocent new victim.

Not feeling brave enough to venture up that woodland path to the front door yourself? Well, by all means, let us give you a little nudge! We are pleased to offer free retail copies of Rhiannon to three lucky winners, courtesy of the game’s UK publisher, Lighthouse Interactive. All you need to do to be eligible is to sleep in a cemetery all night and prove it… or, okay, you could just answer the three quiz questions below. And if tests give you the willies that no haunted house ever could, breathe easy, as all the answers you need can be found either in our developer interview or at the game’s official website.

The contest will run for one week, ending Friday November 7th, so get that entry in before the witching hour!

The “Four Branches” in the game’s title refers to:
A gnarled oak in the front yard
Group of classic Welsh tales
The Pryderi family tree

The title Rhiannon is NOT related to:
A teenaged girl who lived in Ty Pryderi
Fleetwood Mac song
Mother of an ancient Welsh prince

What is the name of the collection of legends that inspired Rhiannon?
Mabinogion
Bron-Yr-Aur
Hen Wlad fy Nhadau
