It's one thing to fear what goes BUMP in the night, but where do you run from the Darkness Within? That will be just one of the key questions when players set off In Pursuit of Loath Nolder in the coming weeks.

The debut horror adventure from Zoetrope Interactive casts players in the role of police detective Howard Loreid, called in to investigate the murder of a wealthy eccentric. But Darkness Within is anything but a traditional mystery, and while the ultimate goal may be to figure out "whodunit?", the real challenge and terror will come from more immediate questions like "am I mad?", "what is real?" and of course, "what the $#^*%& was THAT??!"

The clues lead directly to the titular Loath Nolder, and Howard's pursuit of the fugitive takes him deep underground, where occult followers still worship an ancient saurian god laying dormant within the earth until the moment of his awakening. What's worse, Howard is a lucid dreamer who believes he's experiencing night terror, further obscuring the line between the dream world and reality, leaving players never quite knowing what to believe.
