completed contest: Broken Sword: The Director's Cut comic giveaway

As Broken Sword opens, American tourist George Stobbart is relaxing at a quiet outdoor café when an explosion… no, wait – that’s the old version. The new, improved Director’s Cut of this enduring fan favourite, just recently launched on the iPhone and iPod Touch, reveals more about how French journalist Nico Collard gets drawn into the deadly conspiracy involving an ancient scroll, a secret society, and a globetrotting adventure through the likes of Ireland, Scotland, Spain, and Syria. Assigned to interview a renowned statesman, Nico feels compelled to investigate when the man is murdered shortly after they meet.

We all know what happens after that, but the question is… what happened before that?

No matter how many times you play any version of the game, you won’t find the answer to that question. But you know where you will? The comic. Oh, you didn’t know there was one of those? Well now you do! Created by Revolution’s Charles Cecil and acclaimed artist Dave Gibbons for last year's DS release of Broken Sword: The Director’s Cut, the short comic provides a further glimpse back into Nico’s past, leading readers right up to the events of her playable segments in the game. Have a gander at this page:

So where do you get this special new comic? Better yet, a copy personally signed by Charles Cecil and Dave Gibbons themselves? That’s the best part. Right here, for free! Well, five of you, at least, in our latest comic giveaway courtesy of Revolution. To be eligible, you’ll need to first pass the rites of initiation into the Divine Order of Adventure Gamers by correctly answering the quiz questions below. The contest will run for one week, ending Wednesday, February 10th, and winners will be notified by email (doesn’t have quite the romance of a parchment scroll, but it’s a lot faster).
